Tokwiro releases statement on erroneous recognition of Hellmuth by UltimateBet Software

Tokwiro Enterprises ENRG, owner of UltimateBet, offered a statement on Tuesday, admitting a bizarre software malfunction and stating a repair that was immediately taken in order to prevent any such disorder in future.

On December 20, Novel CEREUS network of Tokwiro had encountered a breakdown that erroneously paid out UB pitchman Phil Hellmuth with the losing hand rather than the player with the winning hand on Ultimate Bet. Post the software malfunction examination, Hellmuth held one pair whereas DOUBLEBALLER strikes trips as the new software passed the pot to him anyway.

Tokwiro, the owner of Absolute Poker and UltimateBet, in his statement, has said, “We have concluded that the malfunction occurred because the winning player disconnected from the table at the precise millisecond when the software was awarding the pot, in conjunction with the ‘player’s state’ data being cleared from the memory cache.” He further adds, “We introduced a new defect that caused 36 hands to award incorrect payouts. All players have been reimbursed for these hands as well.”

Paul Leggett, the COO of Tokwiro mentions that such kind of an issue has occurred for the first time and we have strictly reviewed our database and application logs for the months of December and November and so far, have been unable to dig out any past happenings
